BEIJING-- The high-performance, affordable synthetic intelligence model released recently by Chinese startup DeepSeek has created a wave of attention worldwide. DeepSeek-R1 appears to offer performance that from the U.S., wiki.dulovic.tech but the business states it was developed at less than a tenth of the cost of those models. Chinese innovation news portal 36Kr talked to the company's founder, wiki.whenparked.com Liang Wenfeng, in July 2024.
